About
One person, sourcing Korea — for you.
Hi — I'm Sungyeob Lim, the founder of Seoulike. I'm based in Seoul, and I personally review every request that comes through this site.
Seoulike started because too many friends abroad asked me the same thing: "Can you buy this Korean thing for me? I can't get it shipped overseas." Korean stores often don't ship internationally, don't accept foreign cards, or have menus only in Korean. So I do the boring part — the shopping, inspection, repackaging, and customs paperwork — and you get the item.
How it actually works. You send me a request. I check whether it's sourceable, and reply within 24 hours (Seoul business days) with a full quote: item price plus a flat 15% sourcing fee plus actual international shipping. No hidden markups, no surprise charges. Once you approve, you get a secure Stripe payment link — and only after that payment clears do I buy and ship.
What I won't do. No counterfeits, no export-restricted goods, no items that raise legal or ethical concerns. If I'm unsure, I'll tell you instead of taking your money.
Seoulike is operated under Carraway & Gatsby Corporation, a Delaware company, so payments and contracts are handled through a registered US entity — even though the sourcing happens in Seoul.
